This policy applies to TaleTwisters.games, the Tale Twisters game, Tale Twisters support, and related services operated by UORealms LLC. A connected store, platform, or community service may have its own privacy policy in addition to this one.
2. Information we collect
You may visit the public Tale Twisters website without creating an account. Our systems may receive ordinary technical information such as your IP address, browser, device type, pages visited, access times, referring pages, approximate location derived from an IP address, and security or error records.
When you create or connect an account, contact support, purchase something, join community features, or use a supported platform, we may receive information needed to provide that feature. This may include your username, display name, email address, account identifier, transaction information, and information you choose to provide.
3. Game and community content
Tale Twisters may process words you provide, completed stories, story submissions, votes, chat messages, reports, profile details, scores, and other content you submit. Depending on the feature, this material may be visible to other players, spectators, moderators, or UORealms community members.
Do not place private, sensitive, or identifying information in story blanks, chat, usernames, or other public or multiplayer areas.
4. Connected accounts and services
If you connect Steam, Discord, an app store account, a UORealms account, or another supported service, we may receive an account identifier, display name, authentication confirmation, entitlements, or other information necessary to connect and operate that feature. The connected service handles information under its own policy.
6. How we use information
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve Tale Twisters.
- Provide solo play, multiplayer play, accounts, voting, scores, and support.
- Remember choices and provide features you request.
- Prevent abuse, investigate reports, moderate content, and enforce rules.
- Diagnose errors and understand service performance.
- Communicate when you request help or choose to receive news.
- Meet legal obligations and protect people, rights, and property.
8. Purchases and payment providers
Stores and payment providers generally collect and process payment details under their own policies. UORealms may receive transaction information such as the item purchased, price, date, status, platform account identifier, and information needed to provide the purchase, prevent fraud, keep records, or provide support.
9. Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Tale Twisters, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods differ based on the type of information and why it was collected.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information connected to you. You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing. These rights may be subject to identity verification, legal exceptions, and information we must retain for valid security, operational, or legal reasons.
You may manage cookies through available browser or site controls, disconnect supported accounts through the applicable account settings, and choose not to use optional features.
11. Children's privacy
Tale Twisters is intended for people age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Anyone under 18 should use Tale Twisters with the permission and involvement of a parent or guardian, particularly when using multiplayer or community features.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, remove it.
